Starting with a scenic mountain flight to Lukla, the trail follows the Dudh Koshi River through Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its rich biodiversity and spectacular mountain scenery. Along the route, trekkers visit vibrant Namche Bazaar, the spiritual center of Tengboche Monastery, and several traditional Himalayan settlements before reaching Everest Base Camp.
A major highlight of the journey is the early morning hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m), widely considered the best viewpoint for panoramic views of Mount Everest and the surrounding Himalayan giants.

Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, a representative from Zentrek Adventures will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the vibrant streets of Thamel or relaxing after your journey.

Begin your Himalayan adventure with an exhilarating flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. After meeting your trekking crew, follow the scenic trail through traditional Sherpa villages and lush pine forests to Phakding.

Cross several iconic suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River before entering Sagarmatha National Park. A steady ascent brings you to Namche Bazaar, the bustling heart of the Khumbu region and the main trading center for trekkers and Sherpa communities.

To help your body adapt to the higher altitude, enjoy a rest and acclimatization day in Namche. Optional hikes to Everest View Point or the nearby Sherpa villages provide spectacular views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other Himalayan giants.

Follow a scenic trail with panoramic mountain views before descending to the Dudh Koshi River and climbing to Tengboche. Visit the famous Tengboche Monastery, the largest and most significant Buddhist monastery in the Everest region.

The trail gradually ascends through alpine landscapes and traditional villages, offering stunning views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Island Peak. Arrive in Dingboche, a picturesque village surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery.

A second acclimatization day helps prepare for the higher elevations ahead. Optional hikes to Nagarjun Hill or nearby viewpoints offer breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding Himalayan peaks.

Continue along the upper Khumbu Valley, passing memorial sites dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest. The landscape becomes increasingly rugged as you approach Lobuche.

Today is the highlight of the trek. Hike across glacial terrain to Everest Base Camp, where climbers prepare for their summit attempts. Capture unforgettable photographs before returning to Gorakshep for the night.

Rise early for a memorable sunrise hike to Kala Patthar, the best viewpoint for close-up views of Mount Everest and surrounding peaks. After enjoying the spectacular scenery, descend to Pheriche.

Retrace your route through Pangboche, Tengboche, and beautiful rhododendron forests as you descend toward Namche Bazaar.
